MUSIC: Zlatan – 4 (Days) Nights In Ekohtiebo

Omoniyi Temidayo, Nigerian singer better known as Zlatan Ibile, has released ‘4 days in Okotie Eboh,’ a controversial single, barely days after his release from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The singer, who was arrested alongside Naira Marley on allegation of “advanced fee fraud and related cybercrimes” shortly after the release of ‘Am I a Yahoo Boy’, the duo’s controversial collaborative single, was released four days ago alongside three others.

Following his release on administrative bail, Zlatan took to the studio to release the single, where he narrated his experience while at the custody of the anti-graft agency. He also saved some lines for fake friends and those who snitched on him when he was in detention.

“Pretend you were dead, see who will shed tears over your death. Pretend to be broke and see who’ll ignore you,” the singer is heard blaring in Yoruba language.

“We eat and drink together. Just four days and you can’t hide your hatred for me. You guys didn’t expect me to return. Nobody is holy and don’t be quick to judge”.

Interestingly, Okotie Eboh turns out to be a street in Ikoyi where the office of the anti-graft agency is situated in Lagos.
