Romelu Lukaku may have ended his 12-game goal drought against Southampton but it didn’t stop fans mocking the striker.
At one point in the clash the Manchester United star stood on the ball and injured himself.
And his mishaps have not been one-off. Against Young Boys, Lukaku’s first touch was so bad it gifted the opposition a chance on goal.
Due to frequency of his mistakes, Betfair have now released odds on the striker making a selection of errors for the Arsenal clash.
Under ‘Lukaku Specials v Arsenal’, the 25-year-old is 2/1 to dribble the ball out of play.
The 25-year-old has the same odds to not start against the Gunners.
To fall over the ball again Lukaku is priced at 5/2, while fans who think the forward won’t register a single shot on target can lump money at 7/2.
To be subbed off in the first-half the odds are 5/1 and to have a shot that goes out for a throw-in is 7/1.
It doesn’t stop there, to assist an Arsenal goal the odds stand at 33/1 and Lukaku to score an own goal is 50/1.
After finding the back of the net against Saints, Ander Herrera has backed Lukaku to go on and improve.
“He played a fantastic 60 minutes and he scored which is very important for the strikers,” said Herrera.
“I think we are going to see the best Lukaku in the next games.”
